An optimizing cross-cutt system ensures optimal utilisation of your wood and staff resources with a minimum of waste. This will provide both a higher yield and increased efficiency in your production. 

The Opti-Kap systems are characterised by user-friendly design, focusing on easy, fast and reliable operation. The highly flexible saw automatically measures, optimizes and cuts incoming timber into components. If requested, the saw can be equipped with optional extras such as automatic thickness and width measuring, just to mention some of the major optional features.  

In order to reduce labour costs and to better utilise the cross-cut saw's capacity the saw can be provided with automated handling equipment. The customer can choose from many competitive standard or customized solutions.  

The Opti-Kap 1000 is a fast pusher cross-cut saw designed to cut into lengths quickly and accurately. When you place the workpiece or the bundle in the saw, it is positioned by means of the pusher unit with an accuracy of +/- 0.1 mm. Loading of the timber is done either manually or automatically depending on the customer's specific requirements. A number of different infeed (Opti-Feed) and outfeed (Opti-Stack) solutions are available, as well as optional equipment for wood optimizing, collection of production data, etc.

Like all other products in System TM's range the saw is produced in a functional and sturdy design and is easily operated via the integrated control panel.
